How do we manage to juggle our professional ambitions with personal fulfilment?
Personally, I've adopted a few strategies that have greatly helped me:
* Weekend Work Ban: Early in my career, working weekends as a single person wasn't an issue, but I soon realized the importance of preserving this time. I'm ready to work late during the week, but weekends are off-limits.
* Daily Highlights: I ensure there's something to look forward to every day. This instils positivity and motivation. If I anticipate a day filled with dull meetings, I might treat myself to a meal out or start the day with a run to get that dopamine boost.
* Maintain Outside Activities: No matter how exhausted I feel, I make it a point to keep my outside activities. I've learned that the lower I feel, the more crucial it is to engage in social dinners or fitness sessions, as these activities significantly boost my energy.
